About PHG
Our Story
Our founder is a seasoned collector of vintage military watches—drawn to their matte dials, domed crystals, and hand-stamped typography, yet frustrated by the fragility and upkeep demands of wearing originals daily. That tension gave birth to PHG.
Every PHG watch is a testament to the golden age of watchmaking, where craftsmanship, precision, and durability were paramount. We believe that a timepiece should not only tell time but also tell a story — your story.
Our Philosophy
Heritage Meets Innovation
We bridge the gap between vintage inspiration and contemporary innovation. Our designs draw from classic military timepieces, while our movements and materials utilize cutting-edge technology.
Quality Without Compromise
Every PHG timepiece undergoes rigorous quality control. We use only premium materials — K1 or sapphire crystal, 316L stainless steel, and NATO or genuine leather straps — to ensure lasting durability.
Customer-First Approach
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. From responsive customer support to comprehensive warranties, we’re committed to providing an exceptional ownership experience.
Our Collections
Each PHG collection tells a unique story of military heritage:
- Pilot Collection:
A precision timekeeping instrument built for air force navigators. The clean, calendar-free dial removes all visual noise. Luminous hands and hour markers hold legibility through the darkest night flight. The quartz movement’s inherent resistance to electromagnetic interference keeps it running steady inside the aircraft cabin—a reliable time reference at 10,000 metres.
That classic pilot watch DNA carries a weight that speaks for itself. Pair it with a flight jacket or a motorcycle leather coat, and nothing more needs to be said. The “L” mark on the dial is a quiet piece of history—and a signal to those who know what they’re looking at.
- Navy Collection:
Built for the high-salt, high-glare environment of navy deck operations. The high-contrast white dial remains legible even against the glare of open water. Baton hands and Arabic numeral hour markers let sailors calibrate time at a glance while working with both hands. The standard crown is designed for operation with gloves—practical, durable, and nothing more than it needs to be.
Off duty, the bold black-and-white contrast breaks away from the darkness of conventional military watches. The cool finish of the 316L steel case transitions effortlessly from coastal weekends to city streets, making the Navy Series one of the most recognizable pieces in vintage watch circles.
- Field Series:
During the Second World War, ground troops needed a watch that could be read instantly—in the pitch dark of a trench or under full afternoon sun. The matte black dial eliminates glare. The large Arabic numeral at 12 and the baton hour markers form a time-reading system proven under fire. The two-and-a-half-hand layout strips away everything unnecessary, leaving only what soldiers actually needed: reliable, precise timekeeping.
That same design logic holds today. The frosted texture of the matte case sits naturally alongside military and workwear. The beige luminous coating creates a quiet, understated focal point on the wrist—retro without announcing itself.
- Heritage Collection:
There is a particular chapter in military watch history—the postwar transition years, when military watch designs crossed over into civilian life and produced something distinct: a style that was neither purely tactical nor entirely civilian. Arabic numeral indices, balanced round cases, restrained dials with nothing superfluous. This transitional aesthetic forms the foundation of the Heritage Series.
The Heritage Series wears well with almost anything—tailored or casual—without demanding attention. It is a watch about where things came from. Wearing one isn’t about following a trend. It’s about carrying forward a standard of design that most people have long since forgotten.
